......Lux Mea Est Vita...... A collection of personal photo work, photo ideas, and photo thoughts

My very first Triathlon, Chasing the Chicken, Richmond, Va. And yes, there actually was a man in a chicken suit for people who could go fast enough to chase down! In my division there were 151 people; I made 9th place out of those in my division! I can’t express enough how people do not really know what they are capable of until they just do it! It does take effort, and hard work, but the human body is an amazing machine! I was honored to compete beside my sister AKA Coach, and Laura, my best friend from childhood.

Thanks Mom for snaping some photos and being great support!

Our Home in Progress…

Guess its been a year now that my boys been gone. Man time flies… Chief was my first horse. He taught me a lot and helped me through rough times. I know he’ll be waiting for me over the rainbow waiting for his carrot.

Barb, North Adams, Mass.

Had the pleasure of visiting my 2nd cousin with my mom and sister. You never would know that this woman is 82 years old!! She sure doesnt act like it either. My sister and I learned that we are very much alike our cousin Barb. We are 3rd generation scottish, which would explain the temper, and the need to be alone when around people for a certain length of time. Gasoline and starter fluid also runs through our veins. Barb says “If there was a perfume of gasoline and starter fluid out there, then I would wear it.”

I got to see my first New England Beach. The beaches in New England are so different than those below the Mason Dixon line. The big rocks are just statutes as they allow the majestic waves to come crashing upon them.
